Acceptable Use Policy

Version v1-2026-10. This policy sets out what is and is not allowed on HellowUGC, a platform that stores photos and videos for creators. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every creator, team member and contributor. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

1. Purpose and scope

HellowUGC hosts files that creators request and contributors upload. To keep the service safe, lawful and trustworthy, this policy applies to all accounts, requests, upload links, uploaded files, messages and any other use of the platform. HellowUGC is a trade name of T.M.P BENDT, Dijk 32, 6127 AG Grevenbicht, the Netherlands, KvK 56944888, VAT NL002514364B24.

2. Prohibited content

You may not request, upload, store or share: child sexual abuse material or any sexualised content involving minors; pornographic or sexually explicit material; content showing or promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm or animal cruelty; hate speech or content that discriminates on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin; content that infringes copyright, trademarks, portrait rights or privacy; intimate images shared without consent; personal data of others without a legal basis; content related to illegal goods or services such as drugs, weapons, counterfeit products or gambling; malware, viruses or other harmful code.

3. Prohibited activities

You may not use HellowUGC for fraud, phishing, scams, deception or impersonation; spam or unsolicited mass messaging; harassment, threats, stalking or unlawful surveillance; collecting content from people who did not knowingly agree; using HellowUGC as general file hosting, file sharing or a content distribution service unrelated to collecting content for a request; reselling access without our written permission; bypassing security, plan limits or usage restrictions; automated scraping, overloading or attacking the service; or any activity that breaks Dutch, EU or other applicable law.

4. Responsibility of creators for contributors and team members

Creators are responsible for every request they create and for the people they invite through their upload links, including contributors, colleagues, clients or other sub-users. Creators must only share links with people they reasonably trust, explain clearly what content they ask for, and must not knowingly accept or keep content that breaks this policy. Contributors are personally responsible for the files they upload and must have the right to share them, including permission from identifiable people shown in them.

5. Monitoring

We do not routinely view private files. To protect users, the service and third parties, we may use automated checks on file type, size and usage patterns, and we may review accounts, requests, metadata or files when we receive a report, detect suspicious activity, or are required to do so by law. Any review is limited to what is necessary and respects our Privacy Policy.

6. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may, depending on the severity: issue a warning; remove or block content; disable an upload link or close a request; restrict features; temporarily suspend an account; or permanently terminate an account without refund of the current period where the law allows. In urgent cases we may act immediately and without prior notice. Where permitted, we explain material action and give the user an opportunity to respond.

7. Reporting to authorities

Content that is clearly illegal, such as child sexual abuse material, will be removed immediately, preserved where legally required, and reported to the competent authorities, including the Dutch police and the Offlimits reporting hotline. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

8. How to report abuse

Anyone can report content or behaviour that breaks this policy or their rights, without needing an account. The fastest route is our contact page: choose Legal or content report and describe what you saw. Prefer email? Write to info@hellowugc.com instead. In both cases tell us which link, request or file is involved and what the problem is; for rights claims, add proof that you are the rights holder. We confirm receipt, assess reports promptly and carefully, and inform the reporter about the outcome where possible.

Reports sent through the contact page land directly in our support inbox and are handled as a priority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the law, the service or new risks require it. The current version and date are always shown at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in the product or by email before they take effect, unless an immediate change is needed for legal or security reasons.
